ACTIVELLA® 0.5 mg/0.1 mg lower-dose hormone therapy

17β-estradiol is an estrogen identical to the one her body once made, and the only estrogen in ACTIVELLA® 0.5 mg/0.1 mg. 1,2 This lower dose of ACTIVELLA® 0.5 mg/0.1 mg contains 50% less 17β-estradiol when compared with ACTIVELLA® 1.0 mg/0.5 mg.1

The second key component of ACTIVELLA® 0.5 mg/0.1 mg is a progestin called norethindrone acetate, or NETA. ACTIVELLA® 0.5 mg/0.1 mg contains 80% less NETA when compared with ACTIVELLA® 1.0 mg/0.5 mg.1

Both of the active ingredients in ACTIVELLA® 0.5 mg/0.1 mg, 17β-estradiol and NETA, are derived from plant sources.3
